Restaurant business for takeover in the heart of Brussels
After five years of bringing Entropy to life in the heart of Brussels, a new chapter is taking shape. The restaurant ended its regular public service in summer 2026, but the venue itself never really stopped.
Corporate events, brand launches, press presentations, breakfasts, private dinners, chef residencies and kitchen takeovers naturally took over.
Today, Entropy Restaurant’s business is still available for takeover, with a possible transition from January 2027.
And the venue is probably more agile and ready to hand over than ever before.
A restaurant for takeover on Place Saint-Géry in Brussels
Entropy occupies a distinctive location in the Saint-Géry neighbourhood, just a few steps from the Bourse, within a listed historic building.
The venue covers approximately 165 m² and has benefited from significant investment to enable professional hospitality operations: technical installations, an equipped professional kitchen, reception areas, sound system, screen, security equipment and facilities designed to welcome guests.
The restaurant also features a listed inner courtyard with access to the Senne, as well as the possibility of operating a front terrace, subject to the applicable permits.
The nine-year commercial lease started in April 2022, with authorised horeca use.
The objective is not necessarily to reproduce Entropy. The venue can welcome a new identity, a new restaurant or a hybrid concept combining food, events and experiences.
A venue that remains active
The end of Entropy as we previously knew it did not mean the end of its activity.
Since summer 2026, Entropy has hosted corporate events, product and brand launches, press presentations, meetings, general assemblies, breakfasts and private dinners.
In recent months, the venue has hosted the press launch of a new Lucid electric vehicle, as well as presentations for Belmond, Jumeirah and Maison Pariente. Companies, event agencies, European organisations and major consulting groups are also among the profiles currently using the space.
This activity has allowed us to keep the venue running, strengthen its finances and further demonstrate its event potential.
Until the takeover, Entropy remains available for corporate events and groups.
A fully operational hospitality venue
Taking over an existing restaurant business means gaining what often takes the most time when opening a restaurant: an operational venue.
The premises notably include:
- a fully equipped professional kitchen;
- electrical and sanitary installations adapted to horeca operations;
- several spaces suitable for restaurant and event use;
- maintained professional horeca equipment;
- audio, screen and security equipment;
- an inner courtyard;
- a central location in the heart of Brussels;
- the permits currently required for its operation.
The exact scope of the takeover can be adapted to the buyer’s project and will determine the final transaction value.
A takeover between €100,000 and €150,000 depending on the project
We have deliberately chosen not to sell the venue below its value.
Several takeover projects have been considered in recent months. Some did not reach completion due to financing constraints, despite validation of the business valuation.
Today, our priority is to meet entrepreneurs with a serious project and the financial capacity to bring it to life.
Takeover discussions start between €100,000 and €150,000, including the kitchen installations, depending on the equipment, assets and other elements the buyer wishes to retain.
The final price therefore depends on the agreed scope of the transaction.
Three months to transfer five years of experience
Taking over a restaurant is about more than premises and equipment.
Over five years of operations, we have learned what works in this venue, what works less well, how to organise the team, which contracts to negotiate, how to develop events and how to make the most of the different configurations of the space.
That experience can be part of the handover.
Depending on the buyer’s needs, we can provide up to three months of support covering operational handover, suppliers and partners, organisation, processes, team structure, business development, events and business model optimisation.
The aim is not to impose the Entropy model on the next project, but to help the new operator benefit from what several years of experience have taught us.
A restaurant, but not necessarily only a restaurant
One of the main lessons of recent months has been the versatility of the venue.
Its configuration makes many different models possible: a restaurant open to the public, a more intimate dining concept, an event venue, a hybrid hospitality and event concept, chef residencies, pop-ups or entirely new formats.
Its central location, professional kitchen and different spaces also provide significant potential for developing B2B activities and private events.
For the next operator, the opportunity lies as much in what already exists as in what remains to be imagined.
A new chapter to write from 2027
We now have several professional and personal projects gradually leading us towards the next stage of our journey.
Three potential takeover projects are currently being considered for January 2027, but no final transfer has yet been agreed.
We therefore remain open to meeting other serious candidates.
The Entropy name, its identity and some of the activities developed by its founders will continue independently from the venue. The opportunity concerns the restaurant business and its operational assets, with the exact scope to be defined together.
Looking for a restaurant to take over in Brussels?
If you are looking for a fully equipped restaurant for takeover in Brussels, an existing horeca business in central Brussels, or an operational venue in which to develop your own concept, now is the time to contact us.
Simply introduce your background, your project, the concept you imagine for the venue and your investment capacity.
We prioritise discussions with candidates who have a concrete project and a takeover capacity between €100,000 and €150,000.
Email, call us or meet us on site to receive further information, arrange a visit and discuss the scope of the takeover.
One chapter is closing for Entropy. The venue is waiting for someone to write the next one.
