Why Moby Chose a Plant-Based Restaurant in Brussels

During his visit to Brussels, Moby chose Entropy for dinner. A simple encounter that reflects the values we have shared since day one.

Some evenings feel like any other.

Others leave a lasting impression.

A few days ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming Moby to Entropy Restaurant during his stay in Brussels.

Like every other guest, he came to enjoy dinner, discover our cuisine and spend an evening with our team.

One detail matters to us: he wasn't invited, there was no commercial partnership, and no special arrangement. He simply booked a table and paid for his meal like everyone else. We believe that's part of what made the evening meaningful.

What touched us wasn't that a world-renowned musician walked through our door.

It was the opportunity to welcome someone who has spent decades standing up for values that are also at the heart of what we do: respect for animals, care for the environment and a more thoughtful relationship with food.

When shared values bring people together

We don't know how Moby discovered Entropy.

And, in many ways, that's beside the point.

What resonates with us is the idea that a restaurant built around a clear set of values can naturally connect with people who share a similar vision.

Since opening Entropy, we've simply tried to stay true to what we believe in.

Creating thoughtful plant-based cuisine.

Cooking with the seasons.

Working closely with local producers.

Reducing waste wherever possible.

And welcoming everyone, regardless of how they usually eat.

Moby's visit reminded us that authenticity often speaks louder than promotion.

Food as a universal language

Music brings people together.

Food does too.

Both create emotions.

Both spark conversations.

Both have the power to change perspectives.

At Entropy, we've never wanted to tell people what they should eat.

Instead, we hope to show what plant-based gastronomy can become when it's driven by creativity, craftsmanship and respect for ingredients.

If someone leaves our restaurant looking at vegetables with fresh eyes, we've already achieved something meaningful.

Thank you for the visit

We don't know whether Moby will ever return to Brussels, or to Entropy.

What we'll remember is a simple, genuine evening built around good food and shared values.

And we'll continue welcoming every guest with exactly the same care, whether they're well known or completely anonymous.

Because, in the end, what matters isn't the name on the reservation.

It's the opportunity to share a meal, start a conversation and discover that sometimes the simplest encounters leave the deepest impression.
