Adeline Barras
After 10 years as a chemical engineer and then business manager in major FMCG groups, Adeline co-created Hearth Project with her partner Elliott Van de Velde in 2019 with the desire to grow an impactful and unifying project .
Together, they grew the structure during Covid, mobilized a network of over 400 volunteers and perpetuated the non-profit organization's circular and financial model with the opening of the Entropy restaurant in 2022, which has since proved its worth both gastronomically and through its atypical hybrid strategic model.
Today, she coordinates the experience in the dining room and the management of the restaurant and the ASBL, and uses her academic background in chemistry and perfumes to create the recipes for the restaurant's non-alcoholic beverages.
Her missions? To raise awareness on the importance of food in our daily lives
As well as inspire entrepreneurs and help them achieve their business goals.
She is also a consultant and coach in financing and business strategy at the Hub Brussels regional incubator, and a member of the Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards of several Brussels-based associations and projects.
