The movement of life.

At the beginning of July, a meeting with Bordeaux winegrowers. Nearly 11 winegrowers from the Médoc, Libourne and Entre Deux Mers.

If there's one highly visible facet of climate change, it's the vine.

Climate change is causing (among other things)

🌿 unprecedented bad weather > hail and frost tear off leaves and halt grain development, impacting an entire season

🌿 global climatic warming resulting in sugar levels, and therefore alcohol levels, very different from typical profiles; and a shortened dormancy period for the vines

🌿changing soils and biodiversity > which have a direct effect on grape variety resistance and vine yields.

And when you work with an organic, nature or HVE approach, it's a double whammy.

Except that wine is a historical and cultural heritage. It's an unprecedented aromatic repertoire.

In our selection we highlight producers who contribute to wine's sustainability values, while recognizing that the stakes are high and broader support is needed.

A huge thank you to Vins de Bordeaux for this discovery.
