Ecological acoustic decoration made from recycled tennis balls

283 tennis balls, or 8.5kg of CO2, used for one square metre of acoustic material.

This year, we have chosen to work with Mathilde Wittock, a Belgian bio- and eco-designer, for an even more intimate and aesthetic experience.

‘Soundbounce’ is a material that combines functionality, design and ecology. 283 tennis balls are used to manufacture one square metre of acoustic material, which corresponds to 8.5kg of CO2. The ‘soundbouce wall’ acoustic decoration reflects an exploration of how design can engage all the senses: visual, tactile, auditory and olfactory.

Our walls also feature ‘Root tiles’, decorative sound-absorbing tiles grown directly from roots. The ‘Soundroot’ design is entirely regenerated and locally sourced.

This partnership reflects our commitment to working with local materials and producers. At Entropy, we pay close attention to the comfort and aesthetics of our interiors, so that we can offer our customers the best possible experience!
